Hello, I am still here card making, I can share a few recent makes with you all now.  I just neeeeeded this gorgeous Calming Koi Die & Stamp set and the Water Builder Stencil both from Altenew, simply stunning. Coloured with my favourite medium Promarkers.  Spellbinders Striped embossing folder.  I wanted to use one of my all time favourite techniques for the inside, the acetate spiral and have the little fishes swimming around.

Thank you for still popping by to see me, especially as I don't post as much as I should, I really appreciate it.

HAPPY Birthday TO YOU ...

Just came across this die set; Sweet & Savory from Spellbinders recently.  I just loved Angela's card HERE and couldn't resist making my version.

So multiple layers of card for the cake (incl cream and jam), colourful sprinkles and the aperture.  A vellum strip with white heat embossed powder and some gems to finish.

So effective and simple if not a little time consuming to make but well received, that is for sure.

Make sure you follow the link to Angela over at Spellbinders Paper Arts HERE

GO WILD ...

Love this stamp; Wild Roar by Mama Elephant, took some stamping to get this effect and indeed some colouring too, but well worth it.  Foil quilled the sentiment and matted onto gold glitter cardstock & also quilled the leaves & birds onto the vellum.  Some glossy accents for the little noses & white highlights too.  Hand stitched and some gold gems to finish.

Thank you for popping by my little old blog today, Jane x

HAMMMMY birthday ...

I just love any of the agenda stamps from Mama Elephant and this one is no exception, had this one from release but only just inked up, oops! Paired up with Celebration Hamsters, just adorable.

So I have stamped a wrap for an 6" square card blank.  Coloured with Promarkers, stitched vellum shaker with confetti. Computer generated Hammmmy and birthday die.  Glossy accents for the chocolate on the cake.  Inside, pink polka dot papers, hand stitched and a mini wobble spring for this little fella too.  CG sentiment for the inside also there is a stamp in the set with the same sentiment, I just wanted a different font.  A few little pastel pearls to finish.

Merry Christmas to my fellow crafters & bloggers

Let's CELEBRATE your ...

I have been waiting to share this little cutie, Conga Line from Colorado Craft Company and illustrated by the fabulous Anita Jeram, a dream to colour and a good size stamp with some sentiments included.  So I have made a shaker frame, coloured with Promarkers, distress background, twisted crepe and some confetti & stars from the pinwheel party dies.  A few more sprinkles from Tonic

Debs, in answer to your lovely comment regarding colours, I have been using Promarkers for many years and tend to have a select go to colours, so ivory, blush, warm greys, sandstone & caramel.  For this particular creation I used ginger, gold & spice too.

I would like to enter this into the following challenge -

Party Animal ...

Today I want to share the gorgeous Matchbox Builder dies from Mama Elephant. So I have a couple of projects on my crafting table using this lovely die set but this is the first to be completed.
I have used the 'Wild Roar' stamp set, stamped on a concertina pull out card using the ribbon loop at the top.  Both sentiments heat embossed in gold also Mama Elephant 'Stackable Friends'.  The speech bubble is from the 'Slim Card Basics' die collection.  Coloured with Promarkers in my pointillism style,  white highlights and some glossy accents for the little noses ha ha.

Happy Birthday ...

Time for a change, a tall slim card to share today using the adorable Monkey Agenda stamps from Mama Elephant.  Regular followers of my little old blog will know I adore the agenda stamps, these are no exception.  I have stamped them in grey to create a background, hand stitched, mat and layered kraft and yellow card.  I have used the Sizzix dimensional domes to create a shaker, the stamps are just the perfect size for this.  Coloured with Promarkers and some green sprinkles to finish.

Spin Me Around ...

You may have noticed I do love an interactive card including this Turner Suprise die from the fabulous Mama Elephant.   And like many interactive cards they really aren't as difficult as they may first appear.  Kids, big or small, ha ha love receiving kinetic cards.  The sentiments are from Mama Elephant titled Circle of Friends, heat embossed in gold on black card.  The star die cut is also in the Turner Surprise set.

I have used the Turner Surprise with the Panda Agenda stamps also from Mama Elephant. I have created a background using TH Distress Oxide (twisted citron) and created a shaker card and popped in lots of sparkles, gold glitter, green hexagons & ice white circles all from Nuvo Confetti.

Happy crafting love Jane x

Wish upon a star ...

My first magic color slider card, dies from Father Christmas ok ok Lawn Fawn. Now my Stazon was very old so I couldn't get a clear image on the front of the acetate but I do have another on my craft table and a new ink pad so the next one will be better.  Also I  have a new stamping platform also from Father Christmas and I cannot believe how I have managed without one for so long, highly recommended.

I have used more Lawn Fawn this time the Upon a Star stamp set including the stars which I have heat embossed in silver & the sentiments.  Stitched hillside cut on my Silhouette, papers from Nitwit Collections. The background has been created using TH distress oxides, had these a wee while, love them.  So matted on silver mirri and hand stitched (goes without saying) and coloured with Promarkers.  A few sparkles to finish.

Grandmothers 90th

Made this card for my children to give to my Grandmother for her birthday. As you can see I am loving these colour tones at the moment. As on my previous post I do struggle with the sentiments but seeing as this is the main feature of the card it has turned out exactly as I planned and I am really rather pleased with the result. I created my own paper aida and then cross stitched the sentiment, the worst thing was to punch all the holes!
I am entering this card in the http://sirstampalotchallenge.blogspot.com/ for May which is Butterflies and Blossoms :)
Products used -
Anitas square card blank
Laura Ashley backing paper
Bazzill basics green card stock
Tim Holtz distress ink, Antique Linen
That butterfly punch, again!
Rymans white cardstock for the aida
Green cotton from stash
Ribbon, pin & flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
Martha Stewart branch punch
Gems from Anitas

Thanks for looking, please leave a message so I know you have visited, thank you
