FEEL BETTER SOON ...

Someones feeling blue, so I have made this get well card for them.  Using the fabulous Spellbinders Betterpress on the cotton card, the results are simply amazing, press plate is from Pinkfresh Studio titled; Camellias pressed in Betterpress Ink; French Blue. Coloured using just three Promarkers; Capri, Cloud & Powder Blue.  Vellum wrap, hot foiled sentiment, layered onto matching colour card using the Promarkers once again.  Gold frame made using the Noble Stitched Rectangles from Sue Wilson; Creative Expressions. Some sequins & gold thread to finish.

Happy crafting, Jane

Lets Conga ...

Love this stamp from Colorado Craft Company, illustrated by Anita Jeram.  It is lovely to colour and a good size, so I have stamped it either end but it is of course one stamp :) Sentiment is from Spellbinders for the Betterpress but hot foiled.  Crepe, sequins & gems to finish.

Happy crafting Jane

H A P P Y ...

Another creation using the Spellbinders Betterpress system.  The card for this is 100% cotton which gives an amazing image and very tactile.  This HAPPY & BIRTHDAY press plate is from the exclusive bundle available over at Spellbinders UK along with the flower plate.  The butterfly I have taken from the Butterfly Garden press plate.  The blue ink is titled French Blue also in the exclusive bundle direct.

Bye for today, Jane

happy birthday TO YOU ...

My first play with the Spellbinders Betterpress system.  It is in my opinion worth all the hype and awards, the impression is just gorgeous and seeing is believing, although I do appreciate it is a considered purchase.   Normally I am a alcohol marker kind of girl, but the ink used with this system incidentally created by Ranger is not recommended as it will bleed.  So I have used blending pencils for this one.  I will of course try markers in the near future but as I say I was just playing about, not intending to actually create a finished card.  So coloured cardstock, mat & layered, vellum and the gorgeous press plate which comes with the starter kit along with the sentiment from the Little Message plates.

Thank you for popping by my blog today
