Kick back, relax & take it easy ...

Shamefully I have to admit to owning this rubber stamp (now only available as a digi) for longer than I care to mention and this is its first inking, oops. So I came across this in my stash and decided to take care of Fathers Day. This card is a little interactive in that it has a 'tear strip' on the front which says "Kick back, relax & take it easy."  You then pull where the little crystal heart is to reveal the sentiment for Fathers Day.

I have cut all the elements on my Silhouette Cameo, Argyle embossing folder, papers & charm from my stash.  Coloured with Promarkers & pencils,  hand stitched and some pearls.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges -

Happy crafting, Jane x

Especially F O R E you ...

Sharing a slider/shaker card today, I have used Kraft for the base/structure of the card.  I used the gorgeous 'Playing Golf' stamp (from back in the day) from Lili of the Valley for the main image &  the 'Celebrate Quotables' stamps (back in the day) for the inside, heat embossed in gold. I made a little shaker for the golf bunker, complete with a lost golf ball!

So of course a double slider, just pull from the right and both sides are revealed, the magic is simply a strip of plastic?  Coloured with Promarkers, grass, flags, clouds & star. Birthday sentiment, Fore' sentiment is cg on SafmatArgyle embossing folder, hand stitched, sand from Porto Santo, lovely colour don't you think.

That is all from me today, thanks F O R E popping by peeps

Bye for now, Jane x

Fintastic Birthday ...

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Another shaker card (front view) to share with you today, treated myself to a few goodies at LOTV & their half price sale recently.  Thought I would give these little critters a go & super fun to colour.  The reflection of the camera has made it look like it really full of water!

I wanted the sand to stay at the bottom so I cut a shaker to suit but as you can see I have a gap where the sand has escaped a little with all my shaking!
This is the inside view.

The fish food has been cut on my Silhouette.  Sand is from Porto Santo, fabulous colour & happy memories.  Front sentiment is CG but the 'make a splash' is part of the collection.  Fabulous rubber too, good quality.  Coloured with Promarkers & pencils.  Hand stitched, dew drops  & accents.

So you just pull the ribbon with a super cute 'slice of cake' charm and 'hey presto' surprise,
I LOVE IT
definitely will be making another, something a little different.

Coloured with Promarkers, hand stitched, silver heat embossed, birthday sentiment & balloons.
Spectacular sentiment was a magazine freebie, buttons & gems.  Doily & bunting were from

Toot - Toot ...

Today I wanted to share my first ever 3D box card and the new kit just released from

Couldn't wait to use it and in fact purchased the stamp especially to make this card!
It is hard to make cards for the men in our lives and this kit has plenty of gorgeous papers
and elements to work with and I just fell in love with the 'tie bunting', now why didn't I think of that!

And a picture of the back, folds flat for posting.

The card template is from the Silhouette online store from the fabulous Lori Whitlock which
I have adapted to suit my stamp.  Hand stitched, some gems, ribbon, charm, puff paint,
buttons & screw brads.
Definitely loving this style of card, so effective don't you think?

Surprise ...

Thoroughly enjoyed making this box frame from start to finish and it totally worked out how I planned.
I have made this for the midway reminder for A Little Bit Crafty
and our challenge this month is titled 'Are we there yet'?

I have made the box frame on my Silhouette, distressed with Gesso
and then stamped some postage marks onto it.  Made some extra flaps and then ribbled.
Stenciled the 'this way up', added some bunting & bells.
Some white washi tape, twine, buttons, paperclip, decoupaged image along with
some glossy accents for the windscreen. I could not find any tiny
colouring pencils, you know the party bag filler type so I dug out my quilling
tools and made them, I love them.
I totally love my dice too, what do you think?

Anyways enough of my showing off, I hope I have inspired you to play along with us
for a chance to win some fabulous prizes from
