Mouse Party (House Mouse GDT Card) ...

Today sees the start of another challenge over on House Mouse & Friends Monday
Challenge blog titled 'Let's have a Party'.
I am a Guest designer for this challenge once again but sadly
my last!   Thoroughly enjoyed being part of the team this month and
the House Mouse crew have made me very welcome including my fellow GDT Suzi,
thank you all for this opportunity.
As soon as I saw the title for this challenge I knew I was going to use this cute
little image, which until now had remained un-inked!
Lots of crafting goodies on this creation, so here goes -
House Mouse Stamp set is called 'Chill Out'
I have stamped this little mouse onto white cardstock and then cut
slits either side of the glass.  Stamped again onto acetate and then cut out leaving flaps either
side of the glass to put into the slits,  so it leaves a slightly rounded glass.
Stamp another little cutie to decoupage him, to add to the final effect!

Close up of the acetate glass!

Stripey backing paper, hat paper, Kraft card
Party ticket, no gate crashing now.
Hat pom pom, hat hand cut
'With love' sentiment
Buttons, seam binding, gems
Doily to represent the cake at the party!
Last of all, completely hand stitched and some glossy accents inside the acetate
for the fizzy bubbles.

Card showing the 'with love' tag out!
We do hope you can join us for this challenge, really looking forward to seeing
your interpretations for this one!
Take care, happy crafting

Thanks a Bunch (House Mouse GDT Card) ...

So excited this is my first Guest Design Spot for House Mouse and I
have thoroughly enjoyed using this new stamp set called
'Thanks a Bunch' which was my prize for coming second
in a House Mouse Challenge last month.

The challenge today is a photo inspiration one, gorgeous colour combination don't you think?
I think this style of card is called a 'Joy' fold, which basically is a small card
inside a bigger one!

(This is the inside)
Onto the ingredients -
The backing paper is HOTP and was free in Simply Cards & Papercraft
and the collection is called Soft Nostalgia.
Chocolate cardstock from a Payperbox at my local craft store
Turqouise cardstock is Bazzill
Images stamped onto Elegance Satin Card
Flowers made with felt using a TH Tattered Flower Garland die
Pearls, gems & seam binding from stash
Coloured with Pro & Flexmarkers
Martha Stewart butterfly border punch
Seam binding
Stickles for the Buddleia
Sentiment included in the stamp set heat embossed in silver
And finally ALL completely hand stitched in chocolate cotton
I think that covers it!

comments it really does me alot. If you have landed here via House Mouse

Spring Wishes ... (Joanna Sheen DT Card)

This month over on the Joanna Sheen Challenge blog the challenge is 'Easter/Spring'
so lets hope with the theme comes some lovely weather too!
I have used the wonderful Jane Shasky CD set full of delightful goodies.  I have chosen some beautiful
backing paper for this one.  Some white cardstock which has been embossed, both hand stitched
in contrasting cotton.  This beautiful stamp has been decoupaged for extra depth and coloured
with Promarkers.  The sentiment is CG, heart pin, seam binding and pearls from stash.
We had a fabulous response to last months challenge and we hope you will come and join
us once again.  Some fabulous prizes up for grabs, weekly candy and a daily talent spot too!
We are building up our tutorials and this month you will find how I made this very card.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenge
Passion for Promarkers  - Pastels (I won top 5)!
Spring wishes to you all
