i love you beary much ...

I am still in blog land, crafting away, just nothing I can show with you all at the moment.  So I thought I would share this cutie for now which has been in my draft box for a wee while; Theodore by Sizzix.  Never used any of the Colorize Thinlits by Tim Holtz but this jumped into my shopping basket.  He is a good size, I have used a DL size card to give you an idea.  I have once again used distress oxide and water for my matting, brown cardstock, hand stitched, acetate, organza ribbon, vellum, hearts and gems to finish.

Take care, Jane

Lucky ...

I just adore this image from the Colarado Craft Company and illustrated by the fabulous Anita Jeram; 4 Leaf Clover.

Very simple really, stamped several times, coloured with Promarkers and then decoupaged using silicone gel.  I wanted to give the perspective that this little fella was literally in the clover, so pretty. The sentiment is included in the set which I have heat embossed in gold.

Happy Crafting, Jane x

Gnome-body loves you ...

I have a shaker frame card today (I think that is what it is called anyways)!  So cut the frame and front cover on my Silhouette, stamped the gorgeous Lovey Gnomes from Stamping Bella, coloured with Promarkers, you can't see it but the shaker has pink & red heart confetti and some lush sparkle gems.  Squiggly hand stitch for a change, pearls, some dies from a couple of the Doohickey Club kits, green card cut to look like grass, covered in the lovely green ribbon, heart charm to finish.

The inside has the sentiment included in the Lovey Gnomes; gnome-body loves you the way I love you.  I have cut a spiral pop up heart from the Silhouette Design Store.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges -

Sending U my Love ...

Clean and simple but a cutie from me today with James & laptop.
Totally 'dotty' about this one, took me hours!!
Tried to get a bit techy with the wording too.

Pretty simple, Kraft card base, mat, layer & sentiment on my Portrait
and coloured with Promarkers.  A little hand stitching and a glittered dome heart to finish.

Love is in the air ...

Look at this fabulous new kit from Nitwit Collections
called Truly Madly Deeply, plenty of papers and elements (as always)
and a kit that is going to be very popular me thinks!

I have really enjoyed playing with it, all I have added is a card blank, white ribbon,
a charm, pearl heart, hand stitched and a button.
There is a sentiment in the kit which says 'all you need is love' which I was
using until I had a light bulb moment and made my own using the papers.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, have a good week love

Give us a Cuddle ...

Today is the launch of the new challenge over at
this time round the title is 'Give Us A Cuddle' simple!

I have had this stamp by Penny Black for sometime and it was great
to colour in again for this challenge.  I have an old fashioned wooden version of this stamp
but it is available as a cling stamp HERE
This is my first complete card using my new Silhouette machine, pretty simply just
cut the heart jigsaw in this case, stamp the image and colour with Promarkers
and then carefully peel of the mat and assemble onto the card.
I have learnt so much with this machine, plenty of cutting and playing,
very impressed indeed.  Overall verdict, I love it!
Anyways I have also used papers, sentiment, flowers, more flowers, daisybrads
border, berries, crystal beads, jute and all hand stitched as always.
This turned out to be a large card 8x8 in fact because I needed to fit the
ducks onto the heart and go from there.

This is a close up of the image and you might just work out
the glossy accents on the little duckies beaks?

The sentiment was easy 'You complete me' as this is something my Husband
has always said to me, awww bless.

I hope I have inspired you to come and play along with us, this week up for grabs
for one lucky winner is two gorgeous digi stamps from the lovely Krista
at the Saturated Canary, so what are you waiting for?

That is it for me today, I look forward to seeing all your creations
and don't forget you need to use a Letraset product and follow the
theme to enter, good luck. x

my first 6x6 easel card, my first House Mouse decoupage and the first time
