inside a bigger one!

and the collection is called Soft Nostalgia.

First Challenge nice and easy which is 'Christmas Wishes'

I have used this gorgeous little santa from the Giordano Rubber Stamp collection,
such a warming face but cute with it don't you think?
Immediately I felt he would be super decoupaged and nice and easy to cut out too!
---
Onto the receipe; holly backing paper is Dovecraft 6x6 designer paper titled contemporary Christmas;
musical paper was free with a magazine over the past few months, the brand is
HOTP titled forever Christmas;
Coloured using a combination of Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prismacolor.
Holly die is TH Alteration; White card is Elegance Satin; buttons, bow, pearls from my stash;
Sentiment is also from the rubber stamp kit.
Finished off with liquid pearls and liquid applique.

Joy to the World ...

Today I have a card which I have made in celebration of World Card Making Day over on the
 Lili of theValley blog.
I have used 'Moonlight Wishes' which is yet another irresistible stamp, I NEED them all!
This is my card especially for the occasion, crafting all over the world looking down from the moon!
I know we are all passionate about cardmaking so it is a joy to the world.

I have used non-traditional Christmas colours for this one for a change.  Papers are a free download distressed with TH Antique Linen.  Hand stitched, some ultra fine 'Lion's Mane' glitter and some liquid applique for here hat.  Some white flock for the snow, coloured using Promarkers, Flexmarkers & Prismas.
The sentiment is from a HOTP old QVC craft set, many moons ago (excuse the punn)!
Some ribbon and pearls to finish.
---
I have linked my favourite card I have made to date with a LOTV image which is here
I love LOTV, it was hard to choose as I have soooo many stamps and there are different techniques and colours that I like about them all but this one is a recent make and my first ribbon wreath so I am rather proud of this one!
---
Thanks for popping by once again and to say 'Lee Evans' on his Roadrunner tour at the O2 last week was absolutely fantastic, crying with laughter, loved his final song and he finished off with his old routine of Bohemian Rhapsody!

Take care, happy world cardmaking day

Hanglar ...

This is my latest card, a guys one too!  Really enjoyed colouring this one using the Promarkers again.  The papers are from HOTP and old kit from QVC many many moons ago.  Smooth cardstock from Craftwork Cards for the image and some old exercise book lined paper.  I have used an EK Success punch for the spiral effect and my Slice machine to cut out the stars which have then been run through the Big Shot using an Tim Holtz embossing folder.  Buttons and string from my stash and gems from Anitas.  A little distress ink from Tim Holtz once again for the lined paper, Antique Linen.  Sentiment is LOTV and a paper clip to finish.  Of course I couldn't miss out some hand stitching!!!

Thank you for stopping by, three days in a row, WOW
