Oh Prawns ...

Appearing on the Silhouette Design Store was a free file by none other than the amazing paper sculpture; Lisa Lloyd whom I just love and totally in awe.  So goes without saying I wanted to play along with the PAPER PRAWN CHALLENGE alas I don't have Instagram so my blog will have to do.  Totally loving making these, seven in total so far but cutting some more very soon, watch this space.  My first and main image is made from a cereal packet and looks brilliant, love it.

Thought I would have a whee look at some as yet un inked stamps, oops bad move, seems to be a fair few of them so hoping to rectify this by practising my colouring skills.  I have used the Beary Big Adventure stamps from MFT and coloured with Promarkers first and then pencils.  I have stamped the sentiment first and cut out using the die in Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil & Die Set 'More Sentiments'.  Matted & layered onto a Kraft card blank, Kraft card embossed and using stiched circle dies again from MFT on vellum and digital paper with double sided foam & sticky tape.  A few pearls to finish.

Especially for you ...

Treated myself the the Sizzix Spring Box and a few extra goodies so I have been having a play.  So my first one and not very spring like but I know just decided to go monochrome.  The floral paper is from my stash, many moons ago, Papermania Capsule Collection;  Parisienne Blue.  I have used the largest of the Sizzix domes at 3.5", the Bold Flora dies, Navy cardstock, vellum butterflies, gold glitter card and some beads again from Sizzix.  The sentiment is from Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil 'More Sentiments' which includes dies too. Rather elegant and a good size as the card blank is 7x5 to give you an idea.

On POINT ...

Today I want to share the stamps & dies from MFT and the designer Birdie Brown titled 'Let's Stick Together', super gorgeous and some great sentiments included too.  So I have used TH distress oxides; squeezed lemonade & spiced marmalade for the background, hand stitched and layered up some brown and green cardstock.  Coloured the cute cacti with Promarkers and some glossy accents for the moustache and a heart gem from my stash and three green pearls. The sentiment is heat embossed in gold.  Mat and layered using double sided tape and foam.

Second post from me today, miracle I know ha ha x

I have been playing with some new goodies, the Magic Iris dies from Lawn Fawn including the add on.  Two cards but very slightly different, loved making these and they have been well received by the big kids, ha ha.

Some new stamps too, the 'Really High Five' and 'Reveal Wheel Circle Sentiments' also new release.
The clouds and sun are also Lawn Fawn this time an oldie; Foursquare Backdrop I have coloured with Promarkers, hand stitched, papers, TH distress oxide, stencil, sparkles, silver heat embossing and gems to finish.

Thanks for popping today, stay safe love

Another new stamp set for me, this one reminds me of Miffy (showing my age now) ha ha!
Green polka dot paper, matting & layering, coloured with Promarkers, hand stitched, pearls & heart gem to finish.  The sentiments are included in the set along with the elements; carrots, flowers & cloud & much more.

Wow, 10 years have passed by on my blog, can't quite believe it. In that time I have had the pleasure of designing for some great teams and won some challenges along the way.  My biggest accolade to date is to be a winner of the Papercraft Magazines Designer of the Year 2018.

Thank you to all of my followers and lovely comments and for sticking with me even when my posts are thin on the ground.

I still love to craft as much as I did when I first got hooked and long may it continue, although I think like many others I have two hobbies; buying lovely irresistable goodies and then using them, ha ha.

More agenda stamps today from Mama Elephant, I told you I was a huge fan, this time Panda Agenda.  Tall, slim card once again, stamped background, coloured with Promarkers, hand stitched and Sizzix dimensional domes with some red heart sprinkles to finish.  The sentiments are oldies but goodies from Mama Elephant and the Tiny Ninja stamp set.

Thank you for visiting today, please take care and stay safe in these difficult times, love

Mothering Sunday ...

Well I was just fell in love with the Mama Elephant Corner Flowers and their fabulous designer; Keeway.  Pretty simple, heat embossed in gold and then watercoloured, never watercoloured before but  Keeways example was too stunning to not have a go.  Really pleased but never as good as Keeways.  Please do pop on over and take a look at her amazing inspiration.

Never Ending ...

As the title suggests I have been making a Never Ending card, my first in fact and they really are vey simple.  I could not resist inking up these little cuties from Mama Elephant; Pinata Party.

So it opens to this;

And then this;

And finally somewhere to write.
Clean & simple but fun for all ages I think.  Coloured with Promarkers, papers from Nitwit Collection and the sentiment is from Lawn Fawn; Year Seven
