Happy Birthday to a Special Guy ...

I made this for my baby (he turned 20 last month) he doesn't mind a cute card, bless him!
Purchased Edwin from the last release of Magnolia stamps and he was my
favourite of the entire collection. I have seen a few sneak peaks of the next Magnolia collection
and I really NEED some.
---
Anyways, I decided to cut away the front of this card to create the clouds which
I have done this freehand.  The inside back of the card is the sky complete with
a sun which I cut out with my Slice.  Distressing the clouds with TH inks really adds depth.
Coloured with Promarkers, completely hand stitched once again,
sound like a  record, sorry.
Some Kraft card from my stash, fence die & bunting die.
Garden twine from my shed :)
Grass hand cut, really must invest in a die, me thinks.
The sentiment is from a set from Tickled Pink stamps which is not
I believe available anymore?

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges -
Here come the Boys - Tiddly Peeps (I won Top 3)!!!

That is all from me today, have a great day, crafting or not
take care, Jane x

Awesome dude (Joanna Sheen DT Card) ...

Wow, this is my card for the new challenge over on the Joanna Sheen Challenge blog
which has now gone to a fortnightly challenge.  The new challenge is titled 'It's a mans world' so we
want to see your creations for the men in your life.
---
I have used the 'Groovy Baby' stamp set for this one which contains several
good size stamps but I have used just the camper van for this one.
I have used backing paper from Polka Doodles and distressed it with
TH Picket Fence paint.
Some Kraft card and the sentiment is from Tickled Pink Stamps.
The die is from Die-namics.
All completely hand stitched as always.
Shells, drift wood, twine & charm from my stash.
---
Thanks for popping by my blog once again and welcome to my new
followers, I really appreciate your visit.

Ur the best! ...

Today I have another image from the Pretty Tuff cd-rom and I think this image is my
favourite of them all!  I have followed the sketch over at the 'Here come the boys blog' challenge
this month something I have never done before but I am pleased with the results.
----
Backing paper from the same cd, some kraft card and some coredinations.
A little bit of twine and a star charm, a couple of polka dot buttons (turned over just as I wanted black)!
I have coloured the image with just Promarkers in my usual dotty style.
The sentiment is from the set as before.

A Special Guy ...

I won this handsome chap in some blog candy and I love it, I hope you do too.  This is a first for me as I have used my new Prisma Colors, I am rather pleased with the result but I certainly have a long way to go yet!!!  My little baby boy turned nineteen recently and this is the card I made him.  The tag was made using an old clothes label of his as a template and the old chord.  The flowers were made using his old FT!
As you can see it is a DL easel card another first as I am rather set in my ways and like using square ones most of the time!
---
Anyways onto the recipe,  black/purple cardstock from stash, buttons and  hand stitched.  Boutique ribbon from the Papermania Capsule Collection, flowers die cut again from the Sizzix 3d flower die, Martha Stewart branch punch.  'Live out Loud' sentiment is from Elusive Images (not sure where you can purchase this now)! 'A Special Guy' sentiement from The Greetings Farm.  'SON' punched using a Quickutz alphabet, finally the square black gems are from Papermania Mosaics; Onyx & Diamond range.

Hope you like it, take care, happy crafting
