every birthday ...

Big Balloon die from The Stamp Market, made into a pretty shaker (as shown as inspiration to buy the product) just love this and super easy.  This is a 6" square card to give you an idea.  Teamed up with a die quickly becoming a favourite from The Greetery, Twisted Crepe.  Dug out a stamp set from Altenew titled Kind Confetti, perfect me thinks, ha ha.  Plenty of confetti and some sequins to finish.

Happy crafting, Jane x

Pine Bough ...

Some special Christmas makes once again, this time using the gorgeous Pine Bough from The Greetery now exclusively available at Seven Hill Crafts.  I have been waiting for the brand to come to the UK so needless to say plenty of goodies went in my basket ha ha.

So navy card blank, navy card mat with Frantage (pink & gold to match the mirror card), mirror card, cream/navy sentiments foil quilled on my Silhouette.  Cut pine branches/needles & cones and lightly coloured with distress ink.  Sprinkled a little more Frantage before assembly.

These special cards are a little bigger than 7x5 so they have boxes to match.

Lets Conga ...

Love this stamp from Colorado Craft Company, illustrated by Anita Jeram.  It is lovely to colour and a good size, so I have stamped it either end but it is of course one stamp :) Sentiment is from Spellbinders for the Betterpress but hot foiled.  Crepe, sequins & gems to finish.

Love came down at Christmas time ...

This years very special makes complete, over 35 cut elements per card, along with colouring and assembly.  Taken a wee while but I am really pleased with the results.

I must first and foremost thank Wanda as a designer for The Greetery for the idea of the little heart, it is a great little touch and I just had to add to my special creations, so thank you Wanda.

So backing paper is from Nitwit Collections, The Greetery Hourglass dies & coodinating elements.  Pine Bough and sentiment banner also from The Greetery, they really have thought of everything for this one.  Main hourglass elements & pine bough all cut in white card and coloured with Promarkers, gold card, embossing enamel & a couple of gems to finish.

Merry Christmas crafters, Jane

HAMMMMY birthday ...

I just love any of the agenda stamps from Mama Elephant and this one is no exception, had this one from release but only just inked up, oops! Paired up with Celebration Hamsters, just adorable.

So I have stamped a wrap for an 6" square card blank.  Coloured with Promarkers, stitched vellum shaker with confetti. Computer generated Hammmmy and birthday die.  Glossy accents for the chocolate on the cake.  Inside, pink polka dot papers, hand stitched and a mini wobble spring for this little fella too.  CG sentiment for the inside also there is a stamp in the set with the same sentiment, I just wanted a different font.  A few little pastel pearls to finish.

Merry Christmas to my fellow crafters & bloggers

Platinum Jubilee ...

You may have seen my feature in Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine issue 230 which went on sale last month which was showcasing milestone wedding anniversaries.  Well I couldn't resist making our lovely Queen a Jubilee celebration card in Royal colours of course.  There are many 3D embossing folders on the market, this one by Altenew titled Rose Bouquet, simply stunning and just rubbing a white ink pad over the top of the embossing, especially on darker cards looks amazing, don't you think :)  So I have used a DL card and cardstock from Papermania.  The numbers are from The Greetery and the sentiment is from Studio Light; Phrases 2.

Received a reply too ...

Have a great Jubilee weekend

Let's CELEBRATE your ...

I have been waiting to share this little cutie, Conga Line from Colorado Craft Company and illustrated by the fabulous Anita Jeram, a dream to colour and a good size stamp with some sentiments included.  So I have made a shaker frame, coloured with Promarkers, distress background, twisted crepe and some confetti & stars from the pinwheel party dies.  A few more sprinkles from Tonic

Debs, in answer to your lovely comment regarding colours, I have been using Promarkers for many years and tend to have a select go to colours, so ivory, blush, warm greys, sandstone & caramel.  For this particular creation I used ginger, gold & spice too.

Deck the Halls ...

I am the Guest Designer for the month of November and the challenge is super easy,

So I have created a door hanger for a little ones bedroom this Christmas, I have used gorgeous Holly Wreath Tilda which has to be one of my all time favourites.  I have cut several door hanger shapes on my Silhouette in Kraft and stuck them together, so its nice & solid.  Plenty of Doohickey dies; including snowflake, doily, mistletoe, holly, branch, musical notes, heart & rocking horse from various box collections over the years.  Sneaked in a little new purchase (along with a few others ha ha) of the Twisted Crepe by The Greetery which have finally come to be stocked here in the UK. Coloured with Promarkers, pink ribbon, papers from Nitwit Collections, flowers, gems and hand stitched to finish.
