Merry Christmas ...

Treated myself to the 'Outside the box' dies from MFT, sadly couldn't get hold of the 'snow drift' add on for now so improvised with the newly released 'clouds' add on.  Grabbed a few more stamp sets too, including this little cutie which I have been waiting for the restock for a while, just adorable.

These dies are super easy to assemble and very effective, love them.  So coloured with Promarkers, snowflakes, papers & gems to finish.  Take care fellow crafters, stay safe and have a Merry Christmas

Who can't wait for Christmas ...

Well I just couldn't resist the first release of the wonderful illustration stamps by Anita Jeram in collaboration with Colorado Craft Company.  This one is from a set titled Christmas Presents, just adorable.  You will seeing plenty of this fantastic new release in the new year I am sure of that.

Treated myself to some watercolour brush pens for this one but I certainly do need some more practice and I did revert to highlighting with my faithfull Promarkers and my signature dotty style.  Something to play with more in the coming year me thinks.

So pretty clean and simple, mat onto Nitwit paper and finished off with some sequins and some snow.
Thank you for popping by my blog today, stay safe

Playing with another new stamp from the fabulous MFT titled Picture Perfect Party Animals, such fun.

TIME TO CELEBRATE ...

I am the GUEST DESIGNER over at

Winner badge

for this month and the challenge for all you Tilda & Edwin fans for August is 'Anything Goes' with the option of water.

I am sharing another teepee card, this one is using 6" squares.  I have made a special box so not worried about the amount of embellishments.  Nitwit digital papers, hand stitched, Tilda as a Clown from the Once Upon a Time Collection (sorry no link she is an oldie).  Flowers, cheesecloth, pom pom braid all from my stash.  Enamel dots, various die cuts including Doohickey, coloured with Promarkers, rosette made on the Silhouette.  Sentiment from Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil; More Sentiments.  And I just love to put a shiny red nose on her ha ha.

SOMEONE SPECIAL ...

I am a GUEST DESIGNER at

for the month of August.  The challenge this month is 'Anything Goes' with the option of holiday dies, can't wait to see what you come up with.

A teepee card, much simpler than I first thought, this one is using 5" squares but they can be any size you like.  Very pretty & elegant using the gorgeous 'Porch Tilda', Nitwit Collections digital papers, hand stitched, flowers, cheesecloth and varioius die cuts.  Coloured with Promarkers. Sentiment is from Spellbinders, hot foil plate onto acetate and cut with the inclusive banner die.  I have made some personalised ribbon for that extra touch.  Teepee cards do fold flat for posting but as this will be hand delivered I have made a coordinating box.

BEST OF LUCK ...

Well Mama Elephant done it again with these agendas, wow, out of this world ha ha.  I knew straight away who my first make using these goodies was going to be and I am pleased to be able to share with you now.

So I have also been expanding my distress oxide collection and for my first galaxy background I am rather pleased but of course there is always room for improvement; I used Squeezed Lemonade, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire & Black Soot.  Liquid star dust & embossing enamel.  Stamped images & coloured with Promarkers.  Cut on my Silhouette, hand stitched, sequin stars, glow in the dark embossing powder for the stars, spaceship rays and sentiment.  Matted and layered using 3d foam pads.

G I A N T prawns anyone ...

Regular followers may remember my previous post HERE making the Paper Prawns which was a free file on the Silhouette Studio courtesy of the talented Lisa Lloyd. #paperprawn challenge. Well I have actually lost count of how many I have made but these are my final (for a while) two and I just had to make them GIANT prawns.  I have placed two smaller ones at the front for perspective but they are around 30 cm in length.  Again cereal boxes, as you can see but such fun and so effective and swimming off to their new homes as we speak.

Stay safe and craft love Jane x

Especially F O R E you ...

Sharing a slider/shaker card today, I have used Kraft for the base/structure of the card.  I used the gorgeous 'Playing Golf' stamp (from back in the day) from Lili of the Valley for the main image &  the 'Celebrate Quotables' stamps (back in the day) for the inside, heat embossed in gold. I made a little shaker for the golf bunker, complete with a lost golf ball!

So of course a double slider, just pull from the right and both sides are revealed, the magic is simply a strip of plastic?  Coloured with Promarkers, grass, flags, clouds & star. Birthday sentiment, Fore' sentiment is cg on SafmatArgyle embossing folder, hand stitched, sand from Porto Santo, lovely colour don't you think.

That is all from me today, thanks F O R E popping by peeps

Bye for now, Jane x

Many Thanks ...

Having a go at no lines colouring using these gorgeous Hummingbirds from Pretty Pink Posh, finally managed to add them to my stash as they were never in stock when I was placing orders; couple of other items fell in my basket too, oops!

So I stamped in London Fog, die cut the images, coloured using Promarkers and pencils.  Cut a mat to suit in this case a 6" square card blank and inked with Tumbled Glass & Squeezed Lemonade, splattered with some water and dried.  Stamped the sentiment included in the set in white. Cut a mirror frame, foam pads for the birds and some Sizzix sequins to finish.

get whale soon ...

Loving the Magic Picture Changer from Lawn Fawn, so much fun.  Another stamp & die I have had a while with someone very special in mind.  Combined on this occasion with the Get Whale Soon before 'n' afters stamps.  Coloured with Promarkers, the waves are from MFT the Pop up wiper components, two in blue tones and a third in vellum which I have them embossed with one of my favourite folders which is actually titled Softly Falling from Stampin Up, I have used for snow, water on this occasion and also lemonade bubbles on a magazine make too, very versatile.
The cloud is from a Doohickey Club set.  The background is simply TH Distress Oxide (Salty Ocean) which I have then splattered some water on.

And the big reveal and I was so pleased with the placement of my whale, almost perfect.  If you look very carefully you will be able to see some little fishes behind the vellum these are from the MFT Gill Friends stamp set.  Thank you for popping by today, much appreciated.

HAVE AN unbelievable BIRTHDAY ...

Look at these little cuties, fabulous, these are called 'Tiny Ninjas' from Mama Elephant. Love the way they stamp too, not a solid image but I guess you would say, sketched.  Well of course I had to make a spinner card and I used a cutting file from the Silhouette Studio Design Store.  The sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn Lovable Legends stamp set, heat embossed in gold.  Coloured using Promarkers.  Matted and layered onto red card and also scattered straw distress ink for the sky line.

I LOVE YOU BEARY MUCH ...

Thought I would have a whee look at some as yet un inked stamps, oops bad move, seems to be a fair few of them so hoping to rectify this by practising my colouring skills.  I have used the Beary Big Adventure stamps from MFT and coloured with Promarkers first and then pencils.  I have stamped the sentiment first and cut out using the die in Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil & Die Set 'More Sentiments'.  Matted & layered onto a Kraft card blank, Kraft card embossed and using stiched circle dies again from MFT on vellum and digital paper with double sided foam & sticky tape.  A few pearls to finish.

Stay safe love Jane x

Especially for you ...

Treated myself the the Sizzix Spring Box and a few extra goodies so I have been having a play.  So my first one and not very spring like but I know just decided to go monochrome.  The floral paper is from my stash, many moons ago, Papermania Capsule Collection;  Parisienne Blue.  I have used the largest of the Sizzix domes at 3.5", the Bold Flora dies, Navy cardstock, vellum butterflies, gold glitter card and some beads again from Sizzix.  The sentiment is from Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil 'More Sentiments' which includes dies too. Rather elegant and a good size as the card blank is 7x5 to give you an idea.

Bye for now, happy crafting love Jane x

10 YEARS BLOGGING ...

Wow, 10 years have passed by on my blog, can't quite believe it. In that time I have had the pleasure of designing for some great teams and won some challenges along the way.  My biggest accolade to date is to be a winner of the Papercraft Magazines Designer of the Year 2018.

Thank you to all of my followers and lovely comments and for sticking with me even when my posts are thin on the ground.

I still love to craft as much as I did when I first got hooked and long may it continue, although I think like many others I have two hobbies; buying lovely irresistable goodies and then using them, ha ha.

More agenda stamps today from Mama Elephant, I told you I was a huge fan, this time Panda Agenda.  Tall, slim card once again, stamped background, coloured with Promarkers, hand stitched and Sizzix dimensional domes with some red heart sprinkles to finish.  The sentiments are oldies but goodies from Mama Elephant and the Tiny Ninja stamp set.

Thank you for visiting today, please take care and stay safe in these difficult times, love Jane x

New Job ...

I couldn't wait to get my hands on the Tabby Fortune Teller from Lawn Fawn and made this 'New Job' card straight away but I have had to wait until the recipient had received it before I could share.

I treated myself the the Reveal Wheel goodies too which I have been looking at from a far but couldn't resist anymore.  So this is my first Reveal Wheel and I am sure the first of many more.

I have used papers from Nitwit Collections, hand stitched, little grey heart, some golden gems and also the NEW Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust on a background of TH Distress Oxide; Salty Ocean.

I have taken the plunge into the world of stencils in the past few weeks and made some on my Silhouette Cameo, so I have inked the paws again with TH Distress Oxide; Gathered Twigs onto some white vellum.

YAPPY Christmas ...

Today I am sharing another Mama Elephant stamp that I just NEEDED, titled Oh Puppy Tree, just adorable.  I decided to make my first stand and slide card which I have been admiring online for a wee while.  Pretty simply to make, you just need to make sure you don't embellish the bottom two thirds of the card, as it will not slide.  I just opted for Glossy Accent doggy noses.  The banner die is also Mama Elephant.  The sentiment is from the MFT  Sweet Holiday Penguins stamp set.

Papers from Nitwit Collections; On the Pond. Coloured with Promarkers, gold organza ribbon and a couple of gems to finish. Really sweet and folds flat in a 6" square envelope too.  Thanks for popping by today, happy crafting.

Shake me ...

This card was requested for a adult birthday, anything cat related, no problem I thought.  A little gift to me was the Picture Perfect stamp set from MFT and no matter what age we all love an interactive card don't we.  I have created a mobile phone style shaker on my Silhouette, sprinkles, congrats die, matted and layered, coloured with Promarkers, cg birthday sentiment, enamel dots.  I made on myself a paw stencil so I used this to emboss a piece of white vellum.

See you again soon
