Happy Fathers Day ...

Time for another challenge over on the
and this will be my last both hosting and designing
as I have decided to step down and move on in blogland :(
Thank you so much Paula for choosing me from launch
and for letting me get more hands on and hosting too!
I have had a fabulous time with you all x

So here is my card for this challenge, I was sent the Hollypond Hill fishing stamp set
for this one.

I have used papers, ribbon, charms, button, brads & dew drops.
The matting & layering, cattails & clouds were all cut using my Silhouette.
The sentiment was also done on the Silhouette using a silver metallic pen.

Why not come and play along with us, as always there is a £ 15 Joanna Sheen voucher
up for grabs for one lucky winner, daily talent spots, weekly candy and a top 3
and guest designer too.

I will continue to host this challenge until the end of its run on the 29th June
including the daily talent spots and weekly candy.
I will still be designing for PFP & ALBC and I have a Guest spot coming up
in July for Penny Black & More!

I would like to enter this into the following challenge -
Polka Doodles - Male (I won First Prize)!

With Love ...

Well it is time for another challenge over on the
titled 'Girls, Girls, Girls'
and this time round my fabulous team
were sent the girly cd rom Daisy & Friends to work with.
There are some just adorable little girls on it and a few boys too!
I chose Daisy to work with and I have created a criss cross card which I haven't done
in a little while.

I have used papers, flowers, frame, butterfly, lace, charm (which I have Frantaged)! & ribbon.
I created the butterfly border on my fav machine the Silhouette and as always
it is completely hand stitched.
I have forgotten to mention this on my past few cards but I have printed
the papers onto white pearlised cardstock for that extra pop!
The cardstock was on a fabulous deal recently at Craftwork Cards
but looks like it may no longer be available :(

As always anyone can enter, even non bloggers HERE
for a chance to win the £ 15 Joanna Sheen gift voucher
see you there & good luck.

Birthdays Are Sew Special ...

Today we are starting another challenge over on the
Joanna Sheen Blog and this time round we want you to
'Recycle' item or items.

I have recycled both the backing papers which are in fact wallpaper samples which
I collected in my early crafting days some ** years ago, I knew they would
come in handy  haha :)
Kraft card which is recycled from a folder.
The pink ribbon is from the Anita's card blank packs which have
the ribbon tied around the blanks & envelopes. The buttons are recycled from old clothing and I have collected over the years and finally some name tape left over from the school uniforms.

I was sent the gorgeous House Mouse Happy Hoppers stamp set
titled 'Special Day' which includes this stamp, another large cutie and
two sentiments and some little stamps.
Every layer has been hand stitched which wasn't easy with the wallpaper
as it was so thin, I have used a charm, doily and pearls from my good blogging friend
Paula (ALBC)

Do come and play along with us, I am looking
forward to seeing what you clever crafters come up with!

Take care, love x

Come Rain or Shine ...

Time for another challenge over on the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog
titled 'Come Rain or Shine' so in a nut shell we are looking for weather
related cards.  Here in the UK we love to moan about the weather, too cold, too wet and
occasionally too hot (not often).

I have used stamp, papersfilm, postcard & button from my stash.
The sentiment & wave were cut using my Silhouette
I have used the colour picking tool on the Silhouette software to
match the sun with the papers.
Have I mentioned I love this machine :) x

The shells are from the shores of Tunisa and if you look very carefully
even some Tunisian sand too.  It was really hot in Tunisa, so hot in fact
you couldn't stand on the beach without flip flops and even then
it was for a limited time before your feet would burn!
Great holiday, highly recommended though, the memories.
Along way away from the rain, rain and more rain here in the
South of England at the moment.

Why not come and play along with us for a chance to win a
£15 Joanna Sheen gift voucher for one lucky winner.
Maybe you could one of our daily talent features too!

Take care, love x
