Loving the Camellias from Pinkfresh Studio, Betterpress stamped onto cotton card.  Coloured using Promakers, gold frame created using the Noble Stitched Rectangles, Spellbinders sentiment, hot foiled.  Vellum, gold thread & sequins to finish.

With Love ...

Love this die set and its lovely to colour rather than using coloured cardstock.  So we have little blue tits on a tri fold card and a wee little shaker on the front of the bird box full of hearts.

FOR SOMEONE SPECIAL ...

Today I am sharing a card that came together out of scraps in about 10 minutes.  I wanted to check out the cardstock with this new 3D embossing folder from Altenew.  White pigment ink lightly rubbed over the image.  I grabbed my scrap box and before I knew it I had a finished card.  Never happened before but I suppose that just confirms the amazing quality of the embossing folder.  Hot foiled sentiment was in my scrap box too.  Very simple but stunning none the less.

Well a card a day during the month of December, 2023.  That is me done for this year, wishing all my fellow crafters a very Happy Christmas.  See you next year.

Wow, the Spellbinders Anemone die is just delightful, super elegant and I can't say this is my design, I simply fell in love with the wonderful Yana Smakula creation HERE  which was inspired by Joan Bardee Guest Designer for Yana, credit goes out to you both, I just couldn't resist.

CAS cards today, blue & pink, just beautiful I think you will agree.

Cream card embossed, 3 coloured papers/card from my stash and one heat embossed vellum butterfly.  Hand stitched, hot foil sentiment and some gems to finish.

A couple of SMILE cards today, purchased this 'Say Cheese' die in the Spellbinders sale a while back, just adorable.  I have made both lenses into little shakers.  Backing paper from Nitwit Collections, coloured card from Sizzix.

H A P P Y ...

Another creation using the Spellbinders Betterpress system.  The card for this is 100% cotton which gives an amazing image and very tactile.  This HAPPY & BIRTHDAY press plate is from the exclusive bundle available over at Spellbinders UK along with the flower plate.  The butterfly I have taken from the Butterfly Garden press plate.  The blue ink is titled French Blue also in the exclusive bundle direct.

happy birthday TO YOU ...

My first play with the Spellbinders Betterpress system.  It is in my opinion worth all the hype and awards, the impression is just gorgeous and seeing is believing, although I do appreciate it is a considered purchase.   Normally I am a alcohol marker kind of girl, but the ink used with this system incidentally created by Ranger is not recommended as it will bleed.  So I have used blending pencils for this one.  I will of course try markers in the near future but as I say I was just playing about, not intending to actually create a finished card.  So coloured cardstock, mat & layered, vellum and the gorgeous press plate which comes with the starter kit along with the sentiment from the Little Message plates.

I am just loving this little lady at the mo, Spread your wings Tilda, this time around she is a little bumble bee.  Coloured with Promarkers, box cut on my Silhouette, flowers from my stash, Spellbinders foiled sentiment, Gesso, Doohickey, gems & hand stitched.

So it is a card in a box and also wall art, it all fits back to together to gift.

TIME TO CELEBRATE ...

Once again the stamp Miss Your Smile from PinkFresh Studio.  It is a very large stamp for a DL card ideally but I have made a 6x6.  Colouring inspired by a photo of a Dahlia I took last year.

Navy card, gold embossed, stripe paper, gold mirri, coloured with Promarkers and a few water droplets.

 Adore this stamp from Pinkfresh Studio, Miss your smile. Pretty simple, mat and layered on navy, pink & gold glitter cardstock.  Stamped and heat embossed in gold, coloured with Promarkers.  A little vellum wrap, some cord and a sentiment & gem to finish.

Mothers Day ...

 

For Mothers Day I had a play with a couple of new die sets to my collection.  Available here in the UK exclusively at Seven Hills Crafts; Market Baskets & BotaniCuts Tulips.  So paper is Nitwit Collections, hand stitched, Gold Mirri for the basket, Sizzix Surfacez yellow card for the basket and Neenah white card, coloured with Promarkers, highlighted with white pen and a couple of water droplets with Glossy Accents.

Super Tilda ...

Have you seen the gorgeous new Magnolia stamps, look at this little one, I love her.  The new release were the Christmas Advent Box  2021 which sadly I missed out on so I was itching for the goodies to go live over at Magnolia, I couldn't wait to get started.

So distress background, hand stitched, layered stars and hearts out of mirri and vellum.  This card is just to let someone know I am thinking of them at this time, sentiment also from the release, coloured with Promarkers and some gems to finish.

Summer Time ...

Summer Time, I know, wishful thinking right now, the weather? so I hope this makes you smile.

So this yummy Tilda is called 'Tilda with Big Ice Cream', coloured with Promarkers, sentiment on my Silhouette, Doohickey Antique Lace die, have to say when it comes to Tilda the lace die has to be one of my all time favourites.

Especially for you ...

Treated myself the the Sizzix Spring Box and a few extra goodies so I have been having a play.  So my first one and not very spring like but I know just decided to go monochrome.  The floral paper is from my stash, many moons ago, Papermania Capsule Collection;  Parisienne Blue.  I have used the largest of the Sizzix domes at 3.5", the Bold Flora dies, Navy cardstock, vellum butterflies, gold glitter card and some beads again from Sizzix.  The sentiment is from Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil 'More Sentiments' which includes dies too. Rather elegant and a good size as the card blank is 7x5 to give you an idea.

I am Guest Designer over at Magnolia Forever for February and as you can see from my blog title the theme is 'Clean & Simple'

I have used 'Hello Little Butterfly Tilda' from the Butterfly Dreams collection back in 2011, just adorable.  So I made a red 7 x 5 card base, a sneak peak of red striped card and some pink hearts.  The sentiment is CG and I have coloured her with a combination of Promarkers & Prismacolor.

Squeal ...

 

Regular followers will have noticed I do like an interactive card and I have to say MFT have some amazing dies to create spectacular creations with ease and this one is no exception, the Interactive Up & Down dies which I just had to combine with the Piggy Pebbles, gorgeous piggy jumping in the puddle along with the fantastic sentiment, perfect me thinks.

Coloured with Promarkers in my usual dotty style, very therapeutic, simply layered with some polka dot paper and green cardstock.  I have used glossy accents on the puddle and rain and a couple of green pearls to finish.

Fluttering ...

Lawn Fawns Magic Picture Changer die set and add on set.  The Butterfly Kisses stamp set works well as you can see.  So very pretty me thinks and again great fun to make.

3D Arch Banner die with a sentiment from the stamp set.  Papers are from Nitwit Collections, coloured with Promarkers, hand stitched, border die and some pearls to finish.
