Thanks Latte!

Just got to show you a card using the super gorgeous new kit from Nitwit Collections

This has to be my all time favourite colour combo, so I really enjoyed making this one.
I have made a little coffee 'shaker' too complete with some coffee granules!
I dug out this old stamp from Sugar Nellie called 'Luv a Latte' as it sprung to mind the instant I saw this kit.
I have used flowers, doily & pearls.  Completely hand stitched as always.
Coloured with Promarkers & cut on my Silhouette.

Be sure to pop back tomorrow for a new challenge at TILDA'S TOWN

Birthday Wishes ...

Isn't he the cutest, I am a sucker for a cute stamp and this one is no exception
along with a few others that fell into my basket, oops!

Today at Passion for Promarkers we want to see creations using the colours of your
national flag, so here for me is Red, White & Blue.

I have used papers, stamp, buttons, charm, twine & brad.
Completely hand stitched for a change and all the matting/layering
has been cut using my Silhouette including the clouds, tabs & plane.

Here is a little pic of the inside and yey another Male card off the list.

Why not come and play along with us.

Our sponsor this week is the fabulous
who have a surprise gift up for grabs for the lucky winner?

Take care, love x

Because you're Special ...

Today I have used this gorgeous stamp from Sugar Nellie and their
'Home Grown Range' and this is Cassie Rendezvous.
I have gone for a CAS design and let the image speak for itself, coloured in
my usual dotty style.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps

The inside is also CAS to compliement the front.
Sentiment is from the Wellington Bear Collection of clear stamps
Cloud die, Spring border die, birdcage die.
The cloud has been embossed.
I have dug out my butterfly punch with no name too!
Button, ribbon, gems are all from my stash.

Thanks for visiting my blog today, I really appreciate
all the lovely comments you leave.
Take care, x

Naughty or Nice ...

Today I thought I would share a Christmas card I made for a friend using a stamp from the lovely Simply Sassy range.  I thought she would look great for a card using the words Naughty or Nice, a bit of a cheeky one!  I have also used sentiment from LOTV to look like a bauble/decoration.  Papers if I recall were a freebie from a mag, hand stitched (goes without saying) doily from Joanna Sheen and coloured using Promarkers.

I won't waffle in too much detail but if you need anything else please just get in touch and I will let you know.
I love this new range from Sugar Nellie they are sooo good for teenagers, real attitude.

Happy New Year .....

First of all I would like to wish all my followers and fellow bloggers a very happy & crafty new year, thank you all so very much for all your lovely comments during 2010, I really appreciate them and I hope you will continue to support me in 2011.
---
As per my previous post 'Mr & Mrs' well the wedding was brilliant, food was great and a good COLD day was had by all and my MIL and her new husband Steve are settling into married life together.
---
Today I have my 'Thank You' cards for all those fabby Christmas presents received, so I have made
a batch of this design.  My daughter received a wonderful (shop brought) Christmas card with a canopy over a Christmas window and instantly I knew I was going to use it for this stamp which was amongst my prize from Sugar Nellie.  Although it appears a simply design it has taken some time to produce a batch but I couldn't resist hand stitching which seems to be my bag just now!
---
Well I have used Rymans white card stock to stamp the image using Momento ink and Promarkers.  The buff card is also Rymans.  The canopy was cut using my daughters Christmas card as a template and I have used Pink Petticoats paper for this.  The sentiment has been computer generated, fnally the flower and branch are mini Papermani punches that I also won in the National Cardmaker of the year 2010.  To finish a little Papermania pink gem.
---
Treated myself to some craft goodies with my Christmas money so off to have a play.  Easter stamps (organised or what) and a We R Memory Keepers So Easy tool so I don't have to measure and mark out my sewing anymore, watch this space!

I Won Some Goodies ...

Today I received my LOTV goodies which was great but I also received a box FULL of Sugar Nellie stamps. The reason I hear you ask, well I have come second in the National Cardmaker of the Year 2010 run by Cardmaking & Papercraft in the Sugar Nellie category!!!
---
This was my entry, I must admit when I made it I did not want to part with it but I am soooo glad I did. You have to be in it to win it as they say. All the winners are officially announced when the magazine goes on sale next week, can't wait.

Sooo many new goodies to stamp but I have spent the day clearing the leaves in the garden so I think I will take an evening off.

Thanks for popping by, I hope you like it and well done to all the other winners, I am looking forward to seeing the other winning entries.

Simply Sassy 2 ....

Well here it is the other Simply Sassy card I told you about. Same colour tones as my previous post. I have incorporated a stamp from the Adorables range which I thought worked well too. Over at Funky Kits they have just released the second set of Simply Sassy so I managed to order a couple of those along with the wonderful sentiments from LOTV.
---
I have used the same backing paper from Summertime Designs, an old manilla envelope, Rymans cardstock again and a paper doily from Joanna Sheen. Hand stitched once again, it takes a bit longer than the faux but I do prefer the real thing. Flowers, ribbon and brads from Wild Orchid Crafts. Gems are Papermania and the sentiment from Craftwork Cards. I have distressed the edges once again with the Tim Holtz inks. Finally that Martha Stewart again and a button from my little pot of stash.
---
Thanks for looking, really enjoying these images but I really must get on and make some more Christmas cards!
Take care, Jane x

Simply Sassy ...

Today I have been playing with a couple of the new stamps from Sugar Nellie range Simply Sassy, so here is my first creation. My children are teenagers so cards for friends have moved on from cute little boys & girls and I think these are just the job.
---
Well I have used the usual ingredients which includes Anitas square card blank, Rymans white cardstock and coloured using the fabulous Promarkers. I have also used a manilla envelope for backing paper along with the spotted paper from Summer Driggs. I have hand stitched and distressed using Tim Holtz Distress Inks. Paper doily and crystal brads from Joanna Sheen, ribbon, from Wild Orchid Crafts along with the flowers too. Martha Stewart branch punch and teh sentiment is Inkadinkado clear stamp set called Paperwork Greetings.
---
Really enjoying the cool blue colour tones at the moment (you probably guessed that already)!
