Winter Fairy ...

I just fell in love with this stamp from Mo Manning she is just tooo gorgeous!
Of course I had to have a few others too so watch this space.

I have coloured 'Halla' with Flex/Promarkers and I have
gone blonde for this one.  I usually play safe with browns but I am
really pleased with how this one has turned out.
The papers are from Summertime Designs and the free kit
is called 'Winter Wonderland'.
I have used trees, ribbon, cones, bell, pearls, cheesecloth,
snowsentiment and finally distresss inks.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I have alot of projects on the
go at the moment so please pop back again soon.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

Ur the best! ...

Today I have another image from the Pretty Tuff cd-rom and I think this image is my
favourite of them all!  I have followed the sketch over at the 'Here come the boys blog' challenge
this month something I have never done before but I am pleased with the results.
----
Backing paper from the same cd, some kraft card and some coredinations.
A little bit of twine and a star charm, a couple of polka dot buttons (turned over just as I wanted black)!
I have coloured the image with just Promarkers in my usual dotty style.
The sentiment is from the set as before.
---

Simon Says Stamp - Spots and/or Stripes (2nd entry)

To an awesome dude ...

Today I have been playing with my new Polka Doodles CD called Pretty Tuff
which is fabulous for the men/boys in our lives.  I was inspired by one of my favourite songs by
Bruno Mars 'The Lazy Song' which I quite happily sing badly changing lyrics
to suit my teenagers.
---
Papers and digi from the cd, Papermania silver clips, stars and pearls from my stash.  The black
rubber cord has been recycled from somewhere! Plenty of hand stitching, TH distress inks.
There are plenty of fab sentiments on the cd rom but I have used  a stamp from Tickled Pink Stamps
which I purchased as part of a set so I am not sure whether it is still available, sorry.
---
I am entering this card in the following challenges -
Passion for Promakers - Inspired by a Song
Ladybug Crafts - Anything Goes/New Stash
Dream Valley Challenges - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp - Spots and Stripes
Truly Madly Crafty - Anything Goes

Thanks for popping by, take care, Jane x

Mother's Day ...

Today I want to show you my creations for Mother's Day 2011.  They are infact watering can cards, you should be able to make out the opening at the rear of the can?  It gets harder and harder each year to make something different, a one off or in this case two!

I got the template off the internet and enlarged so I could make the cans out of Bazzill 12x12 cardstock.  Simply wet glue together and then embellish with flowers, pins and babys breath from Wild Orchid Crafts and some handmade ones too, using Sizzix 3d flower die.  The sentiment is from Sundae of Seasons by Polka Doodles.  Butterfly is a Tonic punch adorned with gems for the trail.  Button, raffia, angel hair, wooden heart and ladybird all from my stash.  The leaves are again my MS branch punch.
---
Thanks for looking and I hope all Mums enjoyed their special day!
Take care, lots more crafting to do
