Happy 21st Birthday Son ...

Today is my baby boys 21st Birthday and this is the card I have made for him.
Twenty one candles including 2 & 1 and a key too.
There is also a champagne charm along with some gems and buttons
and of course plenty of hand stitching too.
This card is half an A4 piece of black cardstock folded length ways.
The candles including flames were cut using my trusted Silhouette using
papers from a number of Nitwit Collections digi kits.
The sentiment is from the male collection I won many moons ago in blogland!

My Son has to work today so we are having a big family meal out tomorrow which happens to be my
Mother In Laws birthday too, so plenty of cake & champagne to celebrate.
Happy Birthday Christopher

Have a great weekend crafters, love x

Sending you Love ...

Yay, it is my challenge over at Passion for Promarkers
and I have chosen the 'Bingo Board' below

I have chosen ribbon, free and blooms but I have almost gone for a full house too!

I have used image, flowers, ribbon, charm, hessian, papers, buttons.
I have used glossy accents for this little cuties glasses.
The corners, matting and layering, speech bubble and the image itself
were all cut using the fabulous Silhouette Portrait.
Another feature I have mastered is cutting around a digi stamp!
Hand stitched once again, for a change.

This challenge is sponsored by

who have 7 x digi stamps up for grabs.

Good luck everyone, I am looking forward to seeing all the amazing
entries and remember you MUST use a Letraset product to enter.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge -
Bearly Mine - Girly/Pink (I won Top 3)!

Take care, love x

Come Rain or Shine ...

Time for another challenge over on the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog
titled 'Come Rain or Shine' so in a nut shell we are looking for weather
related cards.  Here in the UK we love to moan about the weather, too cold, too wet and
occasionally too hot (not often).

I have used stamp, papersfilm, postcard & button from my stash.
The sentiment & wave were cut using my Silhouette
I have used the colour picking tool on the Silhouette software to
match the sun with the papers.
Have I mentioned I love this machine :) x

The shells are from the shores of Tunisa and if you look very carefully
even some Tunisian sand too.  It was really hot in Tunisa, so hot in fact
you couldn't stand on the beach without flip flops and even then
it was for a limited time before your feet would burn!
Great holiday, highly recommended though, the memories.
Along way away from the rain, rain and more rain here in the
South of England at the moment.

Why not come and play along with us for a chance to win a
£15 Joanna Sheen gift voucher for one lucky winner.
Maybe you could one of our daily talent features too!

Take care, love x

Around the World ...

Time for a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers
and this one is titled 'Around the World' and has been chosen by design team
member Eileen.

I have been playing with my Silhouette once again for this one and purchased
the lanterns and 'Love' symbol for this one.  The lanterns were cut from Elegance.
The sentiment was cut out of really thick holographic gold cardstock which I have
had in my stash for many years and the Silhouette cut it perfectly.
cardstock and then coloured with Promarkers to get an exact colour match.
I have used Tilda, papers, flowers, ribbon, gems and of course
coloured with Pro/Flexmarkers and all hand stitched.

Up for grabs for this challenges lucky winner is this lovely set of stamps
called 'Going Places' which ties in perfectly for this challenge.

Why not come and play along with us and see if you are lucky?

Take care, love x
