LOVE ...

This is another anniversary card that I needed to make and I was inspired by the lovely free papers in Simply Cards & Papercraft; Nit Collection 'In the Meadow'.
Once again I have decoupaged the lovely image from LOTV and coloured using Promarkers to match.
In the collection there were also some hearts so I cut out two and stitched them together then filled with some teddy stuffing and finished off with a button from my stash.  The flowers were made using the papers again and my Sizzix 3D flower Bigz die.  Plenty of hand stitching and some buttons to complete the look

Yet again I think this image really works well with decoupage, especially the book!
Thanks for keeping in touch and your kind words.

Birthday Fairy ...

Today I have been playing with this little cutie!  I just had to use her with the free Pink Petticoat papers in Quick Cards magazine, so perfect for this image don't you think?  I have also used my new Sizzix Bigz 3D flower die, so these flowers are just my first attempts but they are so easy this is only the start, flowers on everything from here on in.   I won some blog candy earlier this month from Paula and amongst my goodies was this lovely 'wish' charm and the heart pin, thank you so much Paula.
---
Well for those that need to know, here goes on the products used.  Anitas white square card blank, Pink Petticoat free papers, hand stitched.  LOTV sentiment & stamp; image stamped onto Craftwork Cards cardstock and coloured using Promarkers.  Butterfly punch with no name, it has been used so much that no identification is left on it, sorry.  Stickles 'crystal' glitter for the fairy wings and butterfly trail.  I have used some puff white paint for the fairy wand and head piece.  Pearl beads for the flower centres from my stash, pearl gems from Docrafts.  White organza ribbon is from Wild Orchid Crafts and finally the branches are made from a Martha Stewart frond punch.

Thanks for popping by once again and any comments you leave, I really appreciate everything you lovely bloggers say about my creations.

Valentine ...

This is the card I made for my wonderful hubby this Valentines.  I had actually made it before my postings of this image on other cards but obviously I had to wait to post it!
Once again I decoupaged the lovely couple, such a dream to work with.  I have used the papers free from last months Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine.  Plenty of stitching (makes a change), ribbon, charm & pins.
The sentiment came with the stamp from Lili of the valley.  Matt and layered onto  Kraft cardstock, the stems and leaves were cut using the Bazzill In Stitchz templates.  The flowers were cut freehand from felt and sewn together finished off with a pink bead in each one. I also made a matching box which was topped with the felt flowers once again and stitched.

Happy blogging peeps, take care

Naughty or Nice ...

Today I thought I would share a Christmas card I made for a friend using a stamp from the lovely Simply Sassy range.  I thought she would look great for a card using the words Naughty or Nice, a bit of a cheeky one!  I have also used sentiment from LOTV to look like a bauble/decoration.  Papers if I recall were a freebie from a mag, hand stitched (goes without saying) doily from Joanna Sheen and coloured using Promarkers.

I won't waffle in too much detail but if you need anything else please just get in touch and I will let you know.
I love this new range from Sugar Nellie they are sooo good for teenagers, real attitude.

Hanglar ...

This is my latest card, a guys one too!  Really enjoyed colouring this one using the Promarkers again.  The papers are from HOTP and old kit from QVC many many moons ago.  Smooth cardstock from Craftwork Cards for the image and some old exercise book lined paper.  I have used an EK Success punch for the spiral effect and my Slice machine to cut out the stars which have then been run through the Big Shot using an Tim Holtz embossing folder.  Buttons and string from my stash and gems from Anitas.  A little distress ink from Tim Holtz once again for the lined paper, Antique Linen.  Sentiment is LOTV and a paper clip to finish.  Of course I couldn't miss out some hand stitching!!!

With Love ...

I'm back!  Today I have a card using one of the gorgeous new stamps from Lili of the Valley, Together Forever.  As soon as I saw this stamp I just knew I was going to decoupage the image, I hope you can see?  I wanted to keep the layout simple to highlight the main feature so I have just matt and layered some pink squares onto Kraft card and then hand stitched each one.  Finished off with some flowers, branch, pins and pearls. Coloured using my faithful Promarkers.

I am entering this card in the Lili of the Valley challenge which this week is - Romance.

Thanks for stopping by, I will have another card using this image tomorrow.

Dandelion Clock ...

Today I have this gorgeous little girl from Lili of the Valley, I purchased her on launch along with several others as I just love their range.  Haven't had much time to play with them but I know I won't be disappointed. I chose a simple layout for this one so that the focus remained on the little girl and I thought the sentiment also from LOTV was just perfect.  As a little girl myself (along time ago now)! I used to pick the dandelions and blow them to tell the time, those were the days.
---
Still loving the Kraft card so I have used it again for my base along with papers from the Forever Friends Spring Time range, all hand stitched.  Craftwork Cards smooth cardstock again, coloured with Promakers and Stickles to highlight the little ones wings.  Flowers are Prima Country Elegance finished with some of those little glass drops, can't remember the name or where I purchased them from, sorry.  Finally a few Papermania gems to finish off.

Thanks for staying will me, take care love Jane x

Toby Tumbles Birthday ...

Sorry I haven't posted for a few weeks, I don't know where the time goes sometimes.  I have been working on a couple of cards over this time but I can't show the results just yet so I thought I would show you a card I made for a friends birthday earlier this week.  I  used Toby Tumble again as I think he works for both male and female occasions and I really enjoyed colouring him in too!
---
Right onto the items I have used, well Kraft card for the base and Cuddly Buddly digi Toby.  Craftwork Cards smooth cardstock and sentiment.  MS Cherish punch for the border finished with some thread and a button.  Papermania gems for the corners and some Stickles for the bee trail. Backing paper stripes and border polka dots are both from Polka Doodles Sundae of Seasons.

Thanks for popping by even though I have been a naughty blogger and not posted I really appreciate your time and comments, thank you.
