hooray ...

Well I can finally share this card with you, first attempt at the black background colouring showcased by Stephanie Klauk.  Stunning effect, so elegant and very relaxing.  I opted to stamp this large MFT stamp; Harmonious Hibiscus in London Fog first using my stamping platform, coloured the flowers, re stamped in watermark and heat embossed in gold.  Finally coloured the black background.  A strip of vellum, hooray die, HAPPY BIRTHDAY sentiment and a few gems to finish.

Not a quick make but looks gorgeous, I will definitely be trying this effect again soon.

I would like to enter this into the following Challenge -

Passion for Markers - Feminine (I Won & Top 5 placement)!

  1. Am amazing card, so striking and pretty in it's colours and design. Somehow I never think to emboss in gold, it looks so opulent, I must go and find a suitable stamp :)
