Hap-bee Birthday ...

This is my inspiration for the 'Passion for Promarkers' Challenge
starting today titled 'Circle Cards' and this is a first for me as I don't
generally do shaped cards but since the purchase of my beloved Silhouette Portrait
the world has become my oyster as they say.  The scalloped circle, stitched circle and the
two layers of honeycomb were all cut by this fabulous machine.

I have also used Tilda, ribbon, charm, flowers, berries, sentiment
and of course Promarkers and a glitter pen for Tilda's wings.

Why not come and play along with us for this challenge
you could win $10 worth of digi papers from the fabulous

That is all from me today, take care, have a good crafty day

Cheers ...

Today is the start of a fresh new challenge over on the award winning
and the title is 'Layer It Up'
so as the title suggests we want plenty of layers whether it is
decoupage or just loads of matting and layering, it is up to you.

I have used the gorgeous House Mouse Project Book Volume One
for this card and as I am only a drinker of tea or coffee this image
was just perfect for me.  I have decoupaged the main image
and there are three layers of card/papers on each page minimum.

I have also used my new super Silhouette Portrait to cut the teapot and the
sentiment.  I just love this machine!  A couple of doilies, tea bag, ribbon & gems
and of course all hand stitched to finish.

Why not play along with us HERE  for the chance to win
the £ 15 Joanna Sheen gift voucher or you could be one of our daily talents too!

Bye for now, love x

Give us a Cuddle ...

Today is the launch of the new challenge over at
this time round the title is 'Give Us A Cuddle' simple!

I have had this stamp by Penny Black for sometime and it was great
to colour in again for this challenge.  I have an old fashioned wooden version of this stamp
but it is available as a cling stamp HERE
This is my first complete card using my new Silhouette machine, pretty simply just
cut the heart jigsaw in this case, stamp the image and colour with Promarkers
and then carefully peel of the mat and assemble onto the card.
I have learnt so much with this machine, plenty of cutting and playing,
very impressed indeed.  Overall verdict, I love it!
Anyways I have also used papers, sentiment, flowers, more flowers, daisybrads
border, berries, crystal beads, jute and all hand stitched as always.
This turned out to be a large card 8x8 in fact because I needed to fit the
ducks onto the heart and go from there.

This is a close up of the image and you might just work out
the glossy accents on the little duckies beaks?

The sentiment was easy 'You complete me' as this is something my Husband
has always said to me, awww bless.

I hope I have inspired you to come and play along with us, this week up for grabs
for one lucky winner is two gorgeous digi stamps from the lovely Krista
at the Saturated Canary, so what are you waiting for?

That is it for me today, I look forward to seeing all your creations
and don't forget you need to use a Letraset product and follow the
theme to enter, good luck. x
