Just for You ...

Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers
and this time round it is titled 'Needles & Pins'
Easy peasy for me as all my followers will already know
I love to stitch ALL my cards so all I had to do was to add some pins!

Our sponsor for this weeks challenge are
who are offering 7 digi stamps of your choice.

I have made another criss cross card, really loving this style at the moment.
I have used Tilda for this one from the Prince & Princesses Collection
which I have inked up for the first time for this challenge.
The papers and sentiments are from the Papermania Capsule cd-rom which was
free with Simply Cards & Papercraft a while back.
I have inked the edges with distress ink.
Flowers, charm, seam binding, gems, pins, tulle & button.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and I hope you will
come and play along with us for this challenge.

Take care, love x

Summer Days ...

We have had some lovely sunshine of late so I couldn't resist
playing with these little cuties from LOTV called 'Best Friends'.

The papers were freebies in a mag many moons ago.
I have used my butterfly punch with no name once again!
The sentiments are also from LOTV.
The 'live' ticket, flowers, leaves, pearls and of course hand stitched
and coloured with Pro/flexmarkers.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge -

Ladybug Crafts - Summer Fun (I won)!

Thank you for returning to my blog once again today
and for all your wonderful comments, I really do appreciate it.
Welcome to my new followers too, enjoy!

Take care, love x

Delight in the Little Things ...

Back today with another fabulous Saturated Canary image and I really love the
blues and kraft card for this one.

I have used Websters Pages papers which were free with
Simply Cards & Papercraft a while ago.  The pad is called
Western Romance & All About Me.
I have mounted the papers onto Kraft cardstock.
Coloured this little cutie in co-ordinating colours
using Promarkers.
Hand stitched with a blue cotton.
I have pleated some seam binding and stitched that also.
The flowers, pearls, charm & buttons are from my stash.
I have used a lace die for the border and also the sentiment too!
Sentiment is also a Whimsy stamp.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Digi Doodle - Charm (I won Top 3)!
Divas by Design - Sketch (I won Top 3)!
DYSU - Buttons (I won Top 3)!

Thanks for checking out my blog today, looks like it is going to
be a lovely weekend too!
Take care, x

Shaped Cards ...

Well time really does fly just back from my holiday and it is time
for a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and it has been chosen by
the lovely and talented Kim.
We want to see your shaped cards this week and I have
decided to us a digi as the main focus on the front of the card
and then cut around it.
It is a tri-fold card which I have made simply by
sticking two cards together, the green hill is the right opening.

This is the front of the shaped card, slightly open.
I have used papers, flowers, fence, cloud (inside), cheesecloth,
sentiment & pearls.
I have also used glossy accents the eyes, really looks
fabulous on these characters.

This fab challenge is sponsored by
who have
6 Digi stamps up for grabs for the
winner of this one!

Please come and join in, you never know it could be you!!
Take care, x

Try Something New ...

A fab new challenge over on the
Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog
starts today and it is a goodie titled
'Try Something New'
I have tried my first ever criss cross card!

I have thoroughly enjoyed making this style and I am sure
I will be trying again very soon.
This is another scheduled post so I hope everything
is in order today?

The photo below shows the main card and the inside too.

I have used some gorgeous House Mouse stamps for this one.
Sentiment, ribbon, buttons, Prima flowers, label, plain pink cardstock.
The papers are by Nitwits and were free with
Simply Homemade magazine sometime ago.
Completely handstitched as always.

Please come and join us and challenge yourself with
something new, whatever it may be?
The fabulous DT has some great inspiration once
again to get you started.

Take care, x
