Catch a falling star ...

OMG, still loving these little teddies and big style!
Again I have enlarged the digi to pretty much fill the entire card and combined her with some free papers from Simply Cards & Papercraft; papers by Fancy Pants.
Adore the colours and the sentiment along with some fab seam binding.
Took me an age to get the dress colour to match the bow as I only have a 48 set Prismacolors
but I am really pleased with the result.
Hand stitched once again, some Cosmic Shimmer Pearl PVA glue, liquid applique for the  hat pom poms, glossy accents for her nose and a cute little button to finish.
---
I don't know if you can really see it from the picture but I have put some 3d foam pads on the left hand side of her to raise her off the page and just double sided tape on the right, rather effective in real life.
---
Thanks for popping by once again and I hope you like todays offering, as always any questions and I am more than happy to share.

I have some more new Teddy Bo digis this week so there is a high chance that my next creation is another cute little bear?

Celebrate in style Teddy Bo ...

Finally managed to finish my entry to the Teddy Bo Challenge which this time round is 'Bling it on'
I thought I would go for a male card as it is so easy to bling up a girly card and I need to make more mens cards too!
Very simple design with good old Teddy Bo called 'on his tod' covering pretty much the base of the card, he is celebrating in style with his bow tie and top hat of sorts!
Large diamond for his arm and of course his glossy accent nose.
Coloured with Prismas and a dusting of 'Tumbled Glass' for the backing.

Thanks for popping by, hope not to leave it sooo long until my next post, so much to be done and so little crafting time at the mo?
Take care, Jane x

Relax Teddy Bo ...

Oh yes another beautiful little bear, this is my first attempt at the 'cloud' effect as shown on Bev's blog.  I am really pleased with the results and well worth the purchase of  ink dusters and a distress ink pad!  I found it rather rewarding dusting the clouds!  I know that stencils have been around since time began and are by no means a new idea in the world of craft but sometimes we forget techniques as fads come and go but this is one I will be sticking with and trying out different backgrounds for my stamps.
---
No recipe today but please don't hesitate to ask should you require any information regarding this card

Take care, the South has had plenty of rain these past few days so can we have the Summer sun back now?
No pleasing some people!
Take care, love Jane x

Time to Celebrate Teddy Bea ...

As promised another Teddy Bea, she is called 'Top of the toadstool', isn't she soooo cute?  I am beginning to sound like a broken record aren't I but I NEED them all!?!?!?!
---
Lovely summer colours using the linen paper from the Tulip Collection and as you can see this card is not short of stitching!

As you can see it is an easel card with matching box and lots of little embellishments.
Made this card for a friend to give to her neighbour on her special birthday, recipient loves her garden and my friend loves these bears so not short of any ideas for this one.
---
Thanks for reading my blog and I hope you will pop back again soon.  I have another Teddy Bo on the go and I am also playing about with Humphrey from Humphrey's Corner.
Take care, happy crafting

Picked just for you Teddy Bea ...

Another Teddy Bea, I am just loving these little bears, they are just fab to colour with Prismas.
If you haven't become hooked already by these adorable bears, where have you been?
---
Today's card has been made for the Teddy Bo Tuesday Challenge which is 'Shaped Cards'.
I have used 'Can you see me'  on the inside and 'Three in a row' digis for this project.
I have never made a flowerpot card before but I have had great time getting to grips with the mechanics as they say and I am really pleased with the outcome, definitely one I will be doing again, very effective.
The template was a free download, the final size of the card is approx 22 cm high x 15 cm wide just to give you an idea, always difficult to tell from a photograph.  The roses have been sprayed with glimmer mist which is not that easy to photograph but they have a lovely pearl sheen to them.
---
The first picture is the card complete, you then slide the flowers out (like a bookmark) and you get the second piccy below ...
Finally I have a close up of the inside of the card and not forgetting Bea's glossy accent nose!
Can you believe it, NO STITCHING in sight on this card, I must be coming down with something!!!!!!

Teddy Bea Special Day ...

Well today I am totally happy with my creation, this card came together really well, although I do tend to pick and place items several times over before the light bulb comes on as they say!
---
Teddy Bea again, she is from the digi called 'Three in a row', just love colouring these little bears.
Bazzill cardstock for the backing along with some Forever Friends paper.  Ribbon, pearls and gems from my stash.  A little Stickles (Cystal) for the butterfly and glossy accents for her cute nose.  Sentiment is LOTV, branch punch as ever from MS.  The flowers are Woodware, they come plain and you can then colour to match.  I have just spotted them with a fine liner and then added a purple bead to finish.
---
Thankfully we have finally had 24 hours of decent rain here in the South, about an inch, so no need to water the garden today, hurray!
No time to stop, off to blog hop and then???? you guessed it more crafting.

Happy Father's Day ...

Another little bear today, this little chap is called 'On his tod', bless him from Teddy Bo and Co, perfect for Father's Day.
As you can see I have had a go at a rosette, no dies just hand scoring.  I think mens cards can be difficult as us crafters love to add bling, flowers and more bling so I have invested in a rosette die to make life easier in future and in the hope I will make more male cards!
---
Backing paper from my stash (sorry can't find a brand) and the tan card has been recycled from an embossing die packaging, both papers have been distressed with TH Antique Linen.  Hand stitching as always.  Sentiment has been CG and finally coloured using my Prismas.  Oh must not forget some glossy accents for the little bears nose!
---
I am going to enter this card in the 'Here come the boys' challenge which is 'Father's Day'.

Thanks for popping by, take care
